Geocaching

A family fun adventure known as a modern-day global scavenger hunt; geocaching is a great way to get outdoors with a purpose to find the hidden ‘treasure’. Geocaching involves using the GPS coordinates or the app on your phone to guide you toward some sort of container hidden out of plain sight. Most caches contain at least a log book to sign once you find it, some are large and contain items you can take and leave your own items for others to find. With over 35 geocaches in the Hudson Bay area, there are several options to choose from. Ranging in difficulties, the caches can take you for an adventure for a day or a whole weekend.
