The Stepping Stones Playschool is a non-profit community playschool. The playschool focuses on social development of children ages 3 & 4. During the playschool children are able to interact, do crafts, have story time, snacks and play time. The playschool operates from September- June.
3 Years old- $30.00/month
4 Years old- $60.00/month
3 years old- Wednesdays from 9:00am-10:30am
(11:00 after Christmas)

Crawlers & Toddlers

Crawlers and Toddlers is a program for any preschool age children. Children learn to interact with each other and parents get together to socialize and support each other. They meet once a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am-11:30am at the Blake Beattie Building upstairs above Cumberland College. A special room is set up with books, toys, dress up clothes, etc. Yearly fees are $30.00 and there is also a drop in fee of $1.00. Runs from September to June.

Story time is held every Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Hudson Bay Public Library. Activities include stories, songs, crafts, games and special holiday celebrations. It is open to any preschool age children. For more information contact the Hudson Bay Public Library.
Hudson Bay Child Care Co-operative

The Hudson Bay Child Care Co-operative is a non-profit, parent controlled co-operative. The Board of Directors is made up of parents using the Day Care Centre. The Centre is licensed for 30 preschool and school age children from 18 months to 12 years of age at the Prince St. location. The Centre has a full-time, part-time, daily, and hourly fee, and is open from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In 2015 the Hudson Bay Day Care expanded to the new school location. This location facilitates spaces for an extra 36 children at the Hudson Bay Early Learning Centre located at 312 Hamjea St. This new space can also accept 6 infants and is flexivle in the spaces of the remainer of the children at both facilities.
The Day Care has a very safe child-oriented and stimulating environment designed to meet children’s physical, emotional, and social needs. The facility is well equipped with fenced yard and outdoor toys and equipment. The Day Care is licensed by the Saskatchewan Social Services Day Care Branch.
In 1998 the Day Care purchased a dwelling at the corner of 6th Avenue and Prince Street. The building was remodeled to meet all codes of the Social Services Branch. In 2015 a new location opened in the newly constructed Hudson Bay Community School. With the expansion, the facility can support 66 spaces in Hudson Bay.
